Ptosis/blepharoptosis (Droopy eyelid) <50's Male>


・2 weeks ago, woke up with droopy eyelid on his right side without any known causes.
・The eyelid was completely covering his right eye.
・The neurological and ophthalmological examinations did not find any issues.
・The vision was fine but his right side eye ball did not move inward.
・Started to feel migraine and nausea soon after the symptom appeared.

<Progress>
Weekly treatment was given for 5 times.
・Migraine and nausea disappeared after one treatment.
・The droopy eyelid gradually started to open after each treatment.
・After 5 treatments, the movement of eye ball is still not 100% recoverd, but the eyelid was not drooping anymore.

<Implication>
There are many acupuncture points that are related to eyes. When there are no neurological findings, acupuncture could be an alternative before getting a surgery.
