I just got back from Japan this week. The main purpose of the trip was getting acupuncture supplies, but another purpose was to attend a Kappo seminar.<\/p>\n

I have mentioned about Kappo in the home page. Kappo is a manual reviving techniques based on ancient martial arts and it is the origin of SEIDO acupuncture. I have been learning it along with SEIDO acupuncture.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"\"\n\t\t\t\t\"Acupuncture\n\t\tAcupuncture supplies brought from Japan\n\t

Kappo is said to be born in the Japanese Warring States Period in 1500CE. When\u00a0you are in a battle, the most important thing is \u201cto be able to move your wounded body as quickly as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kappo (the art of reviving techniques) was born in order to save comrades behind the scenes of Sappo (literally means the art of killing techniques).<\/p>\n

That is to say Kappo and Sappo are two sides of the same coin. Some techniques of Sappo are handed down as forms of martial arts in Judo and Jujitsu, while Kappo was lost in history as it was handed down orally or handed down from father to only one of his sons as a secret art.<\/p>\n\t

SEIDO association has digged up this hidden art and restructured it, so that practitioners now days can learn and use it in their clinical practices.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Practicing\n\t\tPracticing Kappo\n\t

There are hundreds of Kappo techniques to quickly recover the functionality of a body. So far, I have learned about 50 techniques. I often combine Kappo techniques and acupuncture to get the maximum benefit for clients. This is another essence that makes Acupuncture WaRan truly unique.<\/p>\n\t
