I visited De hoge veluwe national park and the KR\u00d6LLER-M\u00dcLLER Museum this week and found nice quotes by Vincent van Gogh.<\/p>\n\t

If you are living in a city and working in an office, you often forget that your body is a part of nature. Paying closer attention and living harmony with nature would lead to better health, because our body is a part of it. (I will not touch the early age death of Van Gogh here…)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"YinYang\"\n\t

This graph shows how Yin\/Yang energy in nature shifts according to the location of the Sun. “Living harmony with nature” partly means harmonizing your body with this graph. I will explain it in detail at the workshop.<\/p>\n

Some important dates taken from the Japanese calendar are marked on the graph. For example, today (August 7th) is \u7acb\u79cb(Risshu).\u00a0Although the temperature is quite high today, it marks the beginning of Autumn season.<\/p>\n

In Japan, taxes were paid in the form of rice until the late 19 century. So, the calendar system was structured to assist rice farmers. It marks the passing of the seasons and changes in the natural world through the names given to different times of year.<\/p>\n

It is especially important to protect the respiratory system by keeping it warm and moistened in Autumn. The respiratory system and intestine works together to support the immune system according to a theory of traditional Chinese medicine. Diet tips for Autumn will be provided at the workshop. It might be particularly beneficial in this world with Covid-19 infection risks sticking around for a while.<\/p>\n
